Why do RV Ranges still use a standing pilot light instead of DSI like ALL THE OTHER APPLIANCES?

Well current 2005 Copper Canyon, has a twisty sparker for lighting. a standing pilot would be improvement!!
I have been looking into adding a battery powered sparker, it would be push button, but better than the twist knob.
I agree DSI would be far better!!
