Why do RV Ranges still use a standing pilot light instead of DSI like ALL THE OTHER APPLIANCES?

Yes....stove top burners have had a piezo lighter for the burners for many years.
OVEN still using a pilot.
Several folks have done a 'mod' to burner and oven.

I just use a BBQ ligher to fire up stove top and pilot.
