dryers seem to be the same. But the washers without an agitator are a joke.
My new computer washer had a glass top so you could watch it. Don't know if they still sell any that way anymore.
Your clothes sit on the bottom and all it does is spray a little water on them. then motor comes on and bumps it from the bottom. Then more spray and then the motor coming on to shake/bump it.
Your clothes never are submerged in water, and they come out all bunched up at the bottom like a mushroom.
That motor going on and off repeatedly? That just has to draw more electricity than the old ones.
And that computer panel. I had mine replaced twice under warranty. Cost $500 dollars no warranty. Sold it right after they replaced the second computer panel.
Sold both of my new $1,000+ each dryer and washer and bought a used set of standard older ones. :C
Now my clothes are really clean and when I spin that manual dial to pick my load I know it will work and I won't ever have to be staring at an ERROR.DJ7 and all the buttons blinking red. :B
