Blowing warm,,,hot...air on grass will dry it out and turn it brown. AS hot as it is, and you heating the air, it is dry desert air and it will pull all of the moisture out of the grass. Putting water on the grass will help, but not much.
Even the reflection from a window or such will turn the grass brown.
