I have a no name 2.2 kw generator that runs this size AC with never a problem. The Hondas are much quieter, but numerous times more expensive.

3000 is heavy. If heavy is an issue consider 2x 2000 in parallel.
Red or blue is your choice.

But honestly if I need air 24/7 I am looking for hookups.

In no particular order:

Yamaha 3000 iSEB, Honda 3000, Yamaha 3000 iSE, Champion 3100.

I use a 3000 Honda with remote start. It's bolted into the truck bed and has a ventilated metal enclosure. It works good and is still pretty efficient when on eco mode and running my converter or battery charger.

As others said, the 3000 is heavy and I consider it a bolt in model. I would never consider moving it around. If you want to pack them away when you are done go with 2000's. One 2000 can be used if you want to charge or run smaller 120 v loads.

you will need at least 3000+ watts....pick whatever one you can afford.

yahama and honda are great and quiet.

I have a 3000Watt Honda which will run that AC just fine. If I had to do it over again, I'd get two 2000 watt generators and run them in parallel. The 3000 is too heavy to lift by myself.
