Does anyone know which big-box store is best to buy a champion generator? I am at Duke cancer center for a doctor's appointment this morning and headed back to the coast to get my house finished ready...

Running AC on a generator:
2 ways to have sufficient power....
buy 1 3400W +/- generator (my issues with this is portability/moving it around)
or
buy 2 2000W generators. This is what I did. Easier to load and unload, runs the AC just fine. And if you don't need the AC, just run 1.
