Sorry you've had such a rough time. Life sometimes just isn't fair.
But to your point: right on! Just tonight, I saw in the paper that a former neighbor died. Didn't know she was even sick. Just 51 years old. This is the THIRD neighbor/former neighbor that has passed too quickly. And one, a few years back, was so looking forward to retirement, talked about it all the time. Finally, he retired and was doing the planning finishing touches on a big retirement trip all over the U.S., and his wife was diagnosed with cancer. A few months later, and she was gone and so was the trip.
Don't wait for retirement. Don't wait for the right weather. Just get out and enjoy life, you never know when it'll all come to an end.
