Yeah I had a buddy go to the VA for a catarac surgery. I had both my eyes done at Kaiser and the surgeon did a superb job.... I begged him to go to Kaiser he has both options VA or Kaiser and he has plenty of money... He chose the cheap way AKA VA... Needless to say they botch the surgery plus a month later he had a partially detached retina on top of it in the same eye.... I don't think very highly of the quality of some VA doctors......
