Years before I retired I went to a pre-retirement seminar.
First question asked was "How many plan to travel after you retire"
Basically the reply was.... It won't happen so do your travelling now.
You will either be too old or have medical problems.
If you're saving up for travelling when retired, spend it now.. GO NOW!

He was right. We do travel but at a much reduced pace from what we expected and we did start traveling way back when.
