Desert Captain,
I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you don't lose sight of your travel dreams. Your story should inspire each of us to cherish the good times and make the most of every day. The harsh reality is that every day we each get one day closer to being 9-feet under. Therefore, we better enjoy the times while above ground.

On the health care topic, I just finished reading an interesting book by T.R. Reid, called Healing of America. Quite eye-opening to say the least.
