Got home from the VA hospital this afternoon after 14 of the most miserable days of my life (right up there with my previous 17 day stay last October). The new knee turns out to be made of "Oxinium "(Google it), and should be far superior to the old Chromium knee that it replaced. I go back to see my surgeon on July 8th and hope to have most of the use of my knee back by then.
If the rehab goes as expected we should be able to take off on an amended version of our trip around August first and stay out on the road through October. Thanks again for all of the support. :C
