Have any of you ever run into this: Repair shop says you need brakes or calipers or both and you say you will have to wait and get it done later. The shop refuses to release your vehicle citing some law saying they can't release a vehicle knowing it is not safe. I worked for a place that did this on a number of occasions. But then maybe it is California.
