I will become cautious when I see fruit bowls, lemon-aid pitcher & glasses, and coffee cups with napkins.

Looks like you'll want to change the carpet what w/ all the throw rugs and the close up pic of the fridge but given the age and flooring material that's to be expected.

I wouldn't care if it was a dealer or private owner as long as the price made my pockets happy.

What's the tipoff that it is a scam? The price?

NADA reflects past sales and is only a guide. If a RV has a good reputation or there is lots more demand than there are sellers the price will reflect that. Or it may reflect what the buyer wants to get or what they still owe the bank if they financed their purchase.

For what is closer to a Class B+ motorhome the $13k price is one I would have no problem at all in paying. A 2001 3/4 ton pickup will be selling for that amount. This type of motorhome depreciates rapidly and this makes them terrible for new buyers but great for the people buying them used later.

The only maintenance issues to worry about are the fridge, AC, and engine. Worst case if you needed to replace the fridge or the AC unit it would be a $1000 bill. With a gas engine with 59,000 miles the only likely repairs are the water pump, hoses, belts, and batteries (starter and house).

If I was looking for this type of motorhome and saw it advertised at that price by the original owner I would immediately go to the bank and get the cash I needed and head over to buy it. The really good deals rarely last unless the seller is in a very remote area.

Want to check on problems then google this make and year and the word "problem" or "repair" and see what comes back.

Dynamax builds a quality product. Once you go over it carefully, if it looks good, I'd go for it.
The mileage on the rig is good for the age. Those Ford V-10s tend to be solid engines.
