I also had the Reese DC and loved it. Of course the dealer set it up wrong! That seems to be the story told so often. Idiots at the dealerships haven't a clue. After I set mine up with help from this site and the Reese instructions, there were no more problems. I never pulled my bars off to back up and I backed it into some tight campsites. Now, if you really want easy, get a 5th wheel! That's what I did, but I was going bigger.
