I'm in the group that I'll take an earthquake over a tornado or hurricane. Living in both tornado country and earthquake country...... hands down I'll take the earthquake.
The largest earthquake that I've experienced is a 5.2, it wasn't that bad, no damage. I'm sure the big one will come someday. Even if the house is severely damaged, at least we don't have the wind and rain to continue the damage.
My heart goes out to all the storm folks.......I feel especially sorry for the seniors and handicapped people who are stuck.
