Well the easy answer is: No way could the 2500 safely tow an almost 18K 5er as you would be way over the cargo capacity. With most 250/2500 series TV it's not how much you can pull, but how much can you carry. The pin weight is the major downfall, and with a 2007 your capacity is probably much less than the newer GMC/Chevys.
