As coolmom said, pick a couple of clear days, be flexible in your timing. The main highways, interstates will clear in a day or so. Just be prepared to wait it out if driving conditions are bad, you've got an RV or if too cold there are motels. Better to wait it out for a day or two rather than wreck and lose the whole trip.
