I was worried about when we started doing this 9 years ago. I found a great storage place about 10 hours away right on the edge of the snow belt. We go there in Oct. camp for a few days, winterize it and park it in the storage lot. Couldn't work out any better. We have driven through snow and ice storms on our way to pick it up but never had a problem once we got there. One night in a motel, hook up and head south. Couldn't be better.
