It may be a battle and it may be relaxing. Mother Nature and location's snow removal dictates the outcome. Watch your weather and allow for time for road clearing. The Interstates are very good for snow removal.
Here's one story---years ago I was tasked with puling a 42' sailboat from North Carolina to St Paul. I was over width and over height so was permitted through on the route. Coming back, we hit an ice/snow event around Indianapolis, IN. My 1 ton hauler and sailboat were stuck on an ice sheet on the Interstate. Sanding trucks arrived and I was able to get moving. In Indianapolis, the gas station had a path cleared from the the pump islands to the building. There was 6" of ice on the asphalt. We roomed up, overnight, and continued North. I broke a few speed laws and regulations coming into St Paul but I wanted that boat off my back end.
