Having gone to 50-100 shows my advice would be to decide before hand what you want to look at.....say MH or 5th wheels etc then concentrate on that....also decide on a size and price....believe me if it is a large show after the first hour all will look a like and you will be over whelmed. Next do not get cornered by a salesman. Set aside a second day to come back and look at what peaked your interest the day before. It would be helpful if you had an idea before hand what you are looking for then you can compare apples to apples.....If it is a RVIA sanctioned event you can probably go on line an down load a site map of the venue and highlight the displays you want to visit. The show we go to every year has 1300-1500 rv's to look at...plus all the vendor halls. To say the least it will be overwhelming and you will come home with eye strain. What looks good at first sight may not be practical.....One year I saw a 34' travel trailer that did not have one closet. The factory rep said it was a weekend camper and you bring your suitcase. I told him if I was going to live out of a suitcase then I would stay in a 5 star hotel....He thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.....He got huffy when I told him if he signed over the pink slip to me I would not haul it off the show grounds.....so have an idea what you are leaning towards....
