Well, goes to show ya - get the right person involved and amazing what can happen!
Got it all settled and have the 5er back; but some real lessons learned and others I was reminded of from back in my marketing days.
But it was two issues - the Extended Warranty worked out wonderfully. But the CW issue with lack of service will linger in my mind.
But, boy, when I went to pick it up the Service Advisor was so super sweet (she is a nice person anyhow - just caught in the middle of this mess for the most part) and the Service Manager ( whom I had never met) just gave me the look during the conversation of who is this guy and what did he do to get this kinda attention. But he was more than nice and told me to make sure I keep him in the loop in the future.
