"Jpony"......In this day and age, insurance companies will rarely ever show any allegiance, even to long time customers. I was with State Farm for 20 years, towards the end they kept raising my rates with no real explanation. Finally, I went shopping and cut my rates almost in half by going with the Auto Club. Dropped State Farm like a hot potato. After 20 years, not even a phone call when I left.
Sooooo.....when he rates go up, go shopping!. If you read these forums, you'll frequently see posts about rate increases. Sometimes it comes in waves where one company suddenly raises it rates in one area or another.....Progressive is notorious for this. It's just something they do....when they do, move on.
