I've had both GS ERS and now Coach Net....Both have treated me well, though, when I had GS, I never really had any MAJOR issues...but, to my wife and I, while we had Coach Net, we had ONE MONSTER MAJOR concern to us and though some may not want to believe this, I've told this several times on here and it is true:
I own about 3/4's of an acre of land on the Greenbriar River in the middle of nowhere in Pence Springs WV (set up as a campsite, water, sewage and power)...it was April two years ago and it rained and rained and rained and the river was approaching flood stage and they were calling for it to come onto our lot and even higher...normally not a problem for us, but when I hooked up to my 5er, (16,000#), I GOT STUCK UP!!! MY TRUCK GOT STUCK UP!!!!...I have to admit, though I didn't show it to my wife, inside I was starting to panic...I was setting at a 45 degree angle to my 5er....(scary)...I was able to jack up the 5er, unhook and drive the truck out...BUT 5er is still on the property and river was lapping at the banks of our property..Didn't know what to do, but called Coach Net and told them my story...gave them a GPS location of where I was...oh, we only had about 2hrs of daylight left on top of everything else. In about 45 minutes, a deuce and a half wrecker shows up, but tells me they cant come onto the property, but he is at the edge of the gravel road...guy tells me to hook back up....I do, and they drag a winch cable over to my truck and hook up to my front towing hooks...I get in the truck and they pull the truck and the 5er out of the quagmire....WE WERE ECSTATIC!! They stayed until I got the 5er to "higher ground" and the wife and I waited it out...the water came onto our property about a foot deep... other than some yard work, putting in a 12' by 12' concrete pad where 5er's wheels will set, getting a gravel road run onto my property and parking the 5er in a different area to where I can now get in and out quite easily, all is well since, (one of life's Live & Learn lessons:))
ALL that to say, I will stay with Coach Net no matter just for the above reason....some say they won't do what they did...BUT THEY DID and to me, it was a BIG DEAL for our predicament...Good enough for me....
I highly recommend Coach Net, if for no other reason then that ONE incident where they literally, came to our rescue..which cost me -0-....and the premium was $99, so I got that back in spades:)
It's still up to the op. as to what he wants to get....I can only tell of this one incident with Coach Net...
Both GS and Coach net appear to me to have the same services, at least the one's I care about, but until I'm let down by them, Coach Net will be my choice .....
For no more than they charge, either GS or Coach Net, it's really great insurance....if it's something my regular insurance doesn't cover....then I'm covered in every way I need to be covered....hard to put a price on "peace of mind"....and the cost of either ERS is miniscule.
JJBIRISH, hey, you have your opinons, others have their's, I'm going by real life experience, and again, for $99 to $109 a year for either.....it's a great insurance...I've had tires changed out, even fuel dilivered one time near Myrtle Beach years ago from GS...( couldn't find a filling station I could pull truck and rig in....another lesson learned....Sounds like you don't need either....get what works for you...I KNOW what services I've got and what has been covered...'nuff said......don't buy any of these, get what you want and good luck...
