I had a real life experience with CN this summer. I had a do not shift light come on in Leavenworth Washington. After several hours of trying to troubleshoot and fix the problem It was apparent I needed to be towed to a repair facility. I called CN and in about 3 hours a tow truck showed up to tow me It went very well and the tow driver seemed very competent. I rode with him and we chatted about the towing business and how the different companies try to beat the tow drivers down over cost. He stated that sometimes the GS company which is contracted by out to a company other than GS would beat on him after the tow and would always want to haggle about the price they agreed upon. He told me GN also wants to Haggle but before the tow and never after they agreed. He stated he would not tow for GS. The charge was $750.00 and all I did was to sign his bill CN took it from there. They also kept in contact until the driver showed and the tow was complete. Now I have no idea as to how it would have went with GS as I have had the insurance from both GS & GN over the many years we have been rvers. I had a good experience with GS and according to the tow driver/owner It would have been a different tow company with GS but who knows maybe that would have went just as well. I just did not like what he told me about the GS policy from his view.
