They have towed a motorhome form Alaska to a facility in the lower 48, and from Newfoundland, Canada to the Cummins facitity in Quebec City, Canada. Now they have not done that for me, but they have gone above and beyond their contract requirement in one incident.
Was just looking at Coach-Net's comparison guide. Over all looks basically the same as GSRA, with the exception that GSRA has the Platinum + that will tow up to 100 miles to a place of your choosing. Coach-Net's top plans doesn't mention that. They still say unlimited towing to the nearest qualified repair facility. Which will be what they determine as qualified.
This is true, they will tow OVER 100 miles if need be, no charge.....As this poster stated, they also went WAY above and beyond for me also in the specific example I described in detail in my earlier post.
Heck, call either's toll free number and get the information "straight from the horse's mouth", so to speak....
Y'all aren't comprehending my post. I'm talking about GSRA platinum + states 100 miles no matter where. Coachnet does not state that on their comparison guide. It says on their top tier plan "to the closest qualified repair facility". Closest and what they deem as qualified. GSRA platinum + will allow you to chose on your own to who YOU want to tow it to within 100 miles.
Yes, I comprehended perfectly, and again, IN MY SITUATION that I posted about where Coach Net pulled me and my 5er out of a very harrowing situation, (at least being caught in a flooding river to me is very scary, considering the circumstanses), and THAT wasn't under their coverage either, BUT, they did it, THUS the reason, for now, I will stay with Coach Net...they went above and beyond to get my 5er out of situation to where it could have been swept down a river, and what they did, WASN'T in their contract....
soooo, "IF" I EVER have to be towed OVER 100 miles...I'll just wait and see what happens Been towing rv's quite regularly since 75' and (knock on wood), have never had to have my TV or whatever I was towing needing to be towed due to a break down issue, or for any other reason for that matter......it's such a piddly point compared to having your 5er pulled out of a flooding river area.....They've earned my business with that one time service call. I think a lot of others in here would feel the same way, especially if they had been the one's that were in the predicament that my wife and I were in....
