JJBERISH,
In 100% agreement with your post...and in actually, I've been well taken care of by both GS, ERS and CN...no issues with either....I've had both over the years, with most of the last 11 years or so going to GS and only a couple to CN....I see very little significant differences, heck at one time, I had CN AND GS's (due to a purchase I made at GS club, I was able to get a years worth of GS ERS for 24.99, so I got it and already had CN)....
I Myself, see nothing wrong with either, both do a decent job, it's petty to argue about it and for that, I apologize...you have your reasons for going with who you have and I have mine, but in reality, the difference with me is , I have no fuss with either GS or CN, I could have either one and feel ok with either. again, like you, what I've stated has been "MY" experience..
To me, either GS or CN, BOTH work best for those of us who are towing our rv's, or driving a MoHo over regular car/rv insurance, but they'll be some who will disagree about that statement....:)
Bottom line, read the contract, and buy the one you feel best about...again, for no more than what either one of them cost, it's an excellent insurance for an RV'er to have...
And after all of this we both really agree…
I have no problem with CN services or GS, the likenesses are strikingly amazing, and the differences can be considered by some to be minor, or so minor that they are insignificant… CN didn’t short change me… I didn’t make an informed decision but I learned from it…
But for others the difference could be important even very important… I had a friend that goes to Mexico and to him sign and drive in Mexico is important… collision coverage was important to my DD was very important when she had two little ones with her and not a lot of cash on hand… and in my book towing or recovery to proceed under my own power was important when I didn’t have it, and is still important to me looking ahead…
My only gripe is the information available from CN on their product has all of the attributes in all of its literature, except they do not even have a link to the actual plan coverage’s and the plans limitations..
Withholding that information by the selling company is absurd and it should be important to anyone wanting to buy-in… the fact that we now have a link, we can see and compare, it is to credit and the thanks and to the effort of a couple on members…
now CN needs to step up and make it easily available to anyone that needs it…
anyway my priority now is, there is enough snow on the ground here to allow me to get serious about packing up to get out of here…
