The last 25-30 years or so seems like certain political minded folks like to vilify others/groups/companies and then make these type decisions based on their extreme political views.
So read between the lines or do like other free thinkers and use your own judgement on choosing AARP or GS.
I'm glad it works for you but not so for a lot of people. If you are retired but not yet eligible for Medicare you had to purchase from ACA. My premiums went from $450. with 2k deductible to $763. with 8k deductible. AARP supported this nonsense. Not in my best interest and cost me several thousand for the mathematical challenged. So if I don't think the way you do I'm not a free thinker, more nonsence.
