And in truth. This is the 3rd, and last year of my MAXXIS. Every trailer tire I have ever blown, has been in their 4th year. So I'm not leaving them on for another year. They will be replaced in 2020 spring
Only trailer tire I've ever had that failed was a Maxxis. The steel belts separated.
Luckily, I happened to notice the bad tire when I had to stop to make an emergency run to the trailer bathroom. Stopped in a business lot after hours and it was covered with a fine white dust. The tire with the broken belts stood out because only a thin narrow center of the tire was covered with the white dust, but not the outside of the tread. Lucky a) that I noticed, and b) the bad area of the tread was showing and not resting on the ground.
