If you go Max tow, they do upgrade the tires.
You can also spec different tires if you order your truck. However, almost all on the lot have pmetrics.
Never had issues with "P" rated tires. I just air them up to max when towing and use them until they wear out. Let's not forget the tow rating the manufacturer gives the truck has to be with the same tires that come on the truck when new.
