My tires are worn at 46,000 miles and this seems to be the best all around C rated LT On/Off Road tire rated at Tire barn. Since I'm towing a travel trailer, I wanted the LT tire for the additional side wall strength and the firmer ride while towing.I thought about the Bridgestone AT REVO 2 but I'm getting tires at the Ford dealership and they don't sell these. These are also rated lower than the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tires. I've had really bad luck with local tire stores so it will be my dealership.The Goodyear All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tires received really high ratings at Tire Barn and they are decently priced. My Ford dealership is selling them for the same price so that's a good thing too.Any good or bad experiences with these tires on the 2009 - 2014 F150's ?I previously had the WRANGLER SILENTARMOR and they were garbage. So I won't be buying those. Looks like they stopped making the tire size I had on my 2008 Sport Trac. Maybe bad issues with that size?Thanks for your help.

Why from the ford dealer? Dont tell us that they told you that was the only way to keep the warrenty in effect?Honestly, there are many tire dealers out there that will offer great service and decent prices. You need to shop around. Personally I am not a fan of GoodYear. Never got more than 20K miles out of a set. Current tires are Yokahama Geolanders, replacing OE General Ameritracks. Two of which I had problems with by 32K miles. The Yokahamas are way quieter riding. Well see how well they hold up.

I don't like Goodyear tires either. I tend to think the two best AT tires available right now are the Cooper Discoverer AT3 or the Toyo Open Country AT2. I'm leaning towards the latter when I pitch my stock Firestone junk. I've heard mixed things about the BFG AT/KO2 but I like the tread design a lot and they're a little cheaper. The Revo 2 is a good tire, btw - I've had it on other vehicles.You might consider a higher load range while you're at it.

I would get at a minimum "D" or even "E" tires. Your towing experience will vastly improve!

I have those tires but in an E range (Good year A/T adventure). I like them, quiet, good traction in a variety of conditions. Have about 25000 km and several long trips. I would buy them again.

I am very happy with my BFG All-Terrains. This is the second truck I have had a set on and zero issues. Get them through Tire Rack and have them shipped to your tire shop to install.

I know that new tires have different pressure requirements unless they are oem replacements. Just have never heard of Discount placing or giving a sticker with the new tire psi requirements in a door jamb. At least not in my area, although it has been 2-3 yrs since I had to buy new tires for a vehicle.

The ATS and Silent Armor are All-Terrain. The ATS were the other All Terrain LT load C1 tires that I found. Not many Load C1 tires out there.

The placard that Discount tire is using is just for tire pressure. It's not for payload or anything.

Since new tires have different requirements, they give you the sticker to put in your door jam.

I had Good year Silent Armor tires and they were the worst tires I've ever owned.

They were not expired but were all out of round, causing vibration and noise.

Replaced them all but new tires were no better. Ended up trading the truck before ever getting the tires straightened out.

That's why I was fearful about getting the Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar tires. Local shop did tell me they had all kind of problems with silent armor as well and are now discontinued.

I honestly feel better avoiding Goodyear tires. The factory SRA all season tires have done very well though and have no complains with them other than lackluster off road performance.

BTW,I don't have the tires yet as they had to be ordered. Should be putting them on sometime next week.

OEM was Wrangler AT/S that were also great and lasted just under 90,000 miles.
I plan to go GY All Terrain when the time comes.

TY for the update!!! Keep us posted how you like them after towing and a few miles. It's been since pre-KO BFG's that I have owned a set.

New tire placard for the door jamb??? Is this something new Discount is doing???

I changed my mind on what tire I'm getting. I bought the BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 LT in an E1 load rating. Discount tire put my truck specs in and even had new tire placard for the door jam. The new pressure to meet the truck weight and GVWR axle requirements has a recommended tire pressure of 41 psi in the rear and 41 psi in the front.

Don't discount dealerships immediately... My local Ford dealer has excellent deals on new tires and installation... of course, they always try to "upsell" you on a variety of services once they have you in the shop (brake job, transmission service, fluid changes, etc).

Otherwise I don't have any tire advice... except that my Firestone Transforce tires, which ride fine and were a great price, seem to be wearing out very quickly. I think I will be looking at another brand when the time comes.

I have the e rated (dual Kevlar belt) adventurer at and like them a lot. Quiet on road and under load. Wearing well after 1.5 years.
