The placard that Discount tire is using is just for tire pressure. It's not for payload or anything.
Since new tires have different requirements, they give you the sticker to put in your door jam.
I had Good year Silent Armor tires and they were the worst tires I've ever owned.
They were not expired but were all out of round, causing vibration and noise.
Replaced them all but new tires were no better. Ended up trading the truck before ever getting the tires straightened out.
That's why I was fearful about getting the Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar tires. Local shop did tell me they had all kind of problems with silent armor as well and are now discontinued.
I honestly feel better avoiding Goodyear tires. The factory SRA all season tires have done very well though and have no complains with them other than lackluster off road performance.
BTW,I don't have the tires yet as they had to be ordered. Should be putting them on sometime next week.
