If I bought a truck with a towing package and it came with tires rated for less than the "package" says it is designed for I would be going back to the dealer and getting proper tires to match the package rating, for free. Just mention the danger they put your family in by selling you a truck advertised as being able to handle a certain load with tires that could fail at that load.
