That's where you folks all missed the boat. I have a coach with a very high level of integration. It was all designed and built from the ground up to be a traveler's motorhome and that is how we use and love it. There are a few things I have had to add because the technology didn't exist 40+ years ago. But yes, it does have different electrical systems for the main engine, the house as 12V, the house as 120V and the Generator (APU) has its own set so you can't get left dead in the water (road).
The problem so many of you have is that the chassis builder dropships the underneath to the coach plant that does the rest often without knowing much about what they are standing on top of. I see these problems a lot. I try to help and an owner will ask what I do about and I have to shrug and say that I never had the problem.
