Seasoned, um, I mean cynical RV-er here. RV-ing has issues that are "unique" to RVs:
They put "stabilizer" jacks on travel trailers. Too funny. Hahahaha.... :B Then you discover you need to install stabilizer struts for your "stabilizer" jacks. Pffft... :M
Everyone gets an "outdoor shower" as standard equip. now. Tried ours once and before I knew it, the cops showed up and I got charged with indecent exposure. :o
We have one of those specially designed bumpers on our TT for storing sewer hoses. Way cool. Wonder how much extra we paid for that?
ST tires. 'Nuf said. At least it makes for great discussion on forums.
Why do 50 amp RVs have to use 50-30 amp adapters in CGs so much?
Low voltage?? Open ground?? Open neutral?? Hot skin?? What the heck is that all about?
Peeling decals. Water leakage from failed exterior caulking (even on almost new units). Rusting frame due to salt on the roads from delivery in the winter. Cr*p WFCO converter/chargers. Incompetent RV techs and dealers. When something breaks, the dealer and/or factory redirects you to a 3rd party supplier to duke it out with.
I could go on, but I gotta go and do some re-caulking on our TT while there's still some nice weather left. :R
