Grey Tank not draining

Converter replaced (under warranty), the valve issue is that the Alpine has another drain handle other than what is shown in the picture. It is for just the kitchen sink. The handle is located on the frame, in front of the driver side wheels, not visible without looking in and forward through the wheel well.

Had to resort to hauling it in for service. The original reason for needing to dump the tank was to go in for service of the converter, which was only charging 8.7 Volts DC, to boot. I just added the tank issue to the list. Hopefully whomever gets that work ticket doesn't also get a "nasty" shower. Thanks for all of the suggestions and sanity checks.

looks like it is time to locate the troublesome tank and see if the valve blade is in fact being actuated.

I had a gray tank line plug up, ended up running a snake up the line. When I started to get a small stream I removed the snake. What I got was a snake full grease. Found out latter wife dumped a can of grease down the sink. ( she never did it again, I told her she would have to take care of it )It took a lot of hot soapy water to get it cleaned out.

As another member stated you keep referencing, "both handles pulled
black tank drains and 1 grey tank drains", looking at pictures of
your model ( Alpine 3720FB )I see 2 grey tank drain valves and one
black valve handle if that's the case with yours you will have 3
valves to pull to dump all 3 tanks, if you don't then you need to
find out if in fact you have that second valve, were the cable is
(if any).

there is a clear pick of the valve handles in this link of a unit

Do you have water sitting in a sink or shower or are you only going by the sensor? If the pull valves are in the storage area it looks like long runs, one could be disconnected.

this happened to my son. turns out he had a soap plug. soap built up at the valve and it completely stop the water from draining. when were in his back yard so he shoved a hose up the tube and it drain real good after that trick. I didn't know he could run that fast.

You have 3 tanks, so you have 3 handles. Are all 3 handles pulled? You only mention having 2 pulled.

May have nothing to do with being clogged!..

Are the valves connected to the handles via cables?

(The valve itself is "remote" from the pull handle)

If so - check at the valve to see if it is moving - or is the cable *not* pulling the valve open.
(Same would apply for the electrically actuated valves.)

Had one of those on my black tank. Cable wasn't broken, but due to the lousy routing job by the factory, it kinked and was not opening the valve.
Yes, it did/would "pull" - and fortunately it failed in the 'open' position, wouldn't close - although it would push 'in' but not close the valve - (so it seemed to push and pull as normal).

BTW - you may have to drop the underbelly covering material - or cut an access hole to get to the valve.

Hint - *if* that's the case - simply replace the cable rather than the entire valve. Job will be LOTS easier!
(Ain't gonna say how I know that, LOL!)
