Nope. Bad idea even in dispersed primitive camping, imo. Really bad...
Why? What's different about dumping a gray tank or throwing 2 or 3 gallons of dirty camp water on the ground after every meal when tent camping? What's different between gray water on the ground or in a hole compared to the crapper hole we dig when tent camping and 3+ guys using it every day for 2 weeks?
I dump my gray water when dry camping and I fill my gray tank. I hook up a garden hose and give a local tree or two more water than it's had all year. I have held greywater for a week in 80 degree weather then watered the trees with it and never noticed a smell.
Last year I had an issue with my black tank valve and ended up losing a few gallons on the ground in 80 degree weather and it didn't even smell. What surprised me about this deal is one would think from the info gained from the know it all's on this forum that this would be a crappy mess, well it wasn't. With all the water in the black tank there were no turds or clumps of toilet paper on the ground, after the area dried if I looked hard enough I could find a small piece of what used to be toilet paper here and there but I had to look hard. Stayed in that spot for another week and never caught a wiff of what happened.
