Mine too. They are both polyethylene.

I am an industrial contractor by trade and we do all kinds of plastic welding, so we have the resources on hand to make the repairs.

I bought a plastic welding kit from Amazon (I'm not at work so forget the name of the kit), and it has a variable-temp soldering iron and various types of plastic "sticks", including ABS. My kit also has a type of plastic that bonds with almost any other kind of plastic. I HAVE welded ABS bumper covers in the past.

The tanks are definitely ABS unless you see a threaded connection for your drain. If it is threaded it could be many different types of plastic, but it is still probably ABS.

I called the manufacturer and they indicated this particular tank is ABS. Thanks for all your input.

Color does not indicate type of plastic. Polyethylene and Polypropylene are both in one group of polymers while ABS is a hybrid mixture. I spent over 7 years in the industrial plastics supply field. If you need to know you need to contact the MFR with VIN number and hope their records are accurate. If you need to have a crack repaired most farm/ranch communities have a person with special equipment to "weld" polyethylene or polypro. Too darned old to recall if ABS can be welded or if you need nasty glue.

Mine is stainless steel so I don't think that helps you much. LOL

RV drain piping, vent piping and drain lines are ABS.

Black waste tank.....ABS

Mine is ABS. Just finished repairing it. '13 Montana.
