Grills that hang on the side wall of the trailer

I have a question for those of you who have a grill that hangs off the side of your trailer. Does the wall behind or above your grill get hot, does it get greasy and has it discolored in any way? ...

I had the same concerns. After 3 years camping with that type of grill and using it on each outing, I have never had a problem. I have never had any marks left on the exterior wall.
