Grills that hang on the side wall of the trailer

I have a question for those of you who have a grill that hangs off the side of your trailer. Does the wall behind or above your grill get hot, does it get greasy and has it discolored in any way? ...

Nothin like a Panhead... Chopped Frisco Style... Suicide shift, foot clutch, kick start, hard ridin but love it. At my age I can't do much over 100 miles a day but it is a kick.
