Grills that hang on the side wall of the trailer

I have a question for those of you who have a grill that hangs off the side of your trailer. Does the wall behind or above your grill get hot, does it get greasy and has it discolored in any way? ...

The grill on my Jayco mounts on the back bumper so it is well away from the camper. Works great in my opinion and keeps the grill away from the camper. I still prefer my 22.5" Weber Silver over the propane though!
