Grills that hang on the side wall of the trailer

I have a question for those of you who have a grill that hangs off the side of your trailer. Does the wall behind or above your grill get hot, does it get greasy and has it discolored in any way? ...

I've been using ours for 5 years and never a problem of any kind. We use it under the awning as well. Never have a problem with heat or grease either. Keep in mind at least on ours the actual grill sets out from the side of the camper about 8 inches which gives you plenty of room.
