Grills that hang on the side wall of the trailer

I have a question for those of you who have a grill that hangs off the side of your trailer. Does the wall behind or above your grill get hot, does it get greasy and has it discolored in any way? ...

had the RVQ on a Jayco MH for 8 seasons--loved it!!!

new rig has the Side Kick--it's ok but not as thick metal as the RVQ--used it only once so far--but overall never a problem with excessive heat or wandering grease...
