Had a Minor Stroke!

Please make certain that if you have anything like this again, go IMMEDIATELY to the hospital. I had an extremely mild TIA in Dec. The only effect was that I could not find words to complete a sentence. That happens to everyone but it was many words in each sentence. I guessed what was happening and being in extremely good health - bucked going to the hospital. 3 hrs. later I went even though symptoms were gone. The doctors were very upset that I waited. There are meds they can give you that will help stop damage caused during a mini stroke or TIA if you get to the hospital within a few hours. I spent one night in the hospital, meds change, several hours listening to lectures by every member of my family (well deserved).
Go to the hospital at the first sign of stroke. Best wishes!!
