I am into my third year with 100 cpap usage and love it. A topic not covered is wither you use a service supplier like Linde or buy your machine direct. I used Linde and found them of value for the first 6-9 months, both in proving to the insurance co that usage is complete and to access different styles of masks. The service was really into pushing unneeded supplies billed to the insurance co. and after a year found CPAP.com to order stuff direct at discounted prices. My insurance co pay was generally approximate to the discounted price. To set up an account with cpap all you need is a dr script and pay yourself.
I do have a 12 volt battery added to my class A for dedicated service.
I forgot the cpap one weekend trip and had a miserable trip
