Does anyone know if all tubes are interchangable with all machines? We are going camping next weekend and if DH and I switch spots in the RV bed, I can put the CPAP on the built in, but I will need a longer tube.
I planned to order an 8 foot tube from cpap.com but my tube is skinny and I don't know if skinny tubes and be switched with regular tubes, etc.
Thanks.
Oh, all of my body muscles relaxed during my nap today. It. Felt. Amazing!
Length and diameter of hose makes a difference.;) I was provided a ResMed S9. It came with a light weight and more flexible hose. I tore one and asked about the heavier and a longer hose since the hose is connected at the back and I loose about 2 feet of useable length the way it sets next to the bed. I was told the heavier hose had a slightly larger diameter and the machine would have to be adjusted for the change in air flow. Was also told it would need adjusting for a longer light weight hose. My insurance was paying 100% for medical equip so I made sure I had extra hoses.
