I am scanning almost all of my paperwork, contracts, insurance policy declarations, user guides, etc. into my laptop which goes on all trips with me. I also carry a very small scanner and a small printer. I would much rather do away with the paper and just print what I need. It takes quite a bit of time to do all the scanning but no more than filing things properly, and it makes it SO easy to find things in a hurry. I still do have the binder with all the motor home booklets in it as they would be too labor intensive to scan. Everything is backed up twice and regularly. Sure makes tax time easy, too.
