I have a big golf umbrella and a smaller one in the 5er all the time. I have to stay out of the sun if possible and they provide great shade if we are unable to deploy the awning. Also have one in the boat for a "shade break" while fishing.

We often carry our market umbrella from the patio at home. It breaks down so that it's not too long to carry. You can move the shade around :)
