I have a B and, aside from RVing weekends, usually drive it to work once or twice a week. I built a formica topped table that straddles the turned-to-face-the-drivers-seat passenger seat. I used this for painting on canvas in inclemate weather, HOWEVER, it was becoming a pain those times when I had a passenger.
I finally decided to use the two heretofore unused tables that came with the vehicle. My B is carpeted throughout so, depending on my needs, I either use the larger table as a base, or the smaller table top as a base. I turn the one I'm goi ng to use as base, face down, stick the leg in the thingamajig on the base table and insert same into the table I'll be using.
This is working out well for me since I don't have to carry the home built table anymore, 2 tables and leg store easily, I can place it anywhere I want it to be, and the facedown base doesnt get scratched thanks to the carpet.
