Underwear. Old long distance m/c rider tip. Save you old 99.9% worn out underwear for trips. Use up that last 0.1% and discard in trash. Hopefully you won't find yourself in a town that has a ban on old underwear in it's landfill. As your underwear drawer gets depleted you'll be making room for the souvenirs & Tshirts.
Except your 100% cotton undershirts. Save them, they make the very best shop & cleaning rags.
