Best use we've found for our loft bed when we don't have any of the grandkids with us: storage. The cabinets are filled with all our extra 'paper' stuff (TP, p.towels, napkins, p.plates, plastic flatware, leftover bags, etc). Rolled up the mattress, plenty of room for extra clothes, souvenirs.
Clothes...any time we're off in the RV we're on vacation. Laundry is a chore saved for the unmobile house. We take all the clothes we need for however long we're going to be gone, plus a couple of days in case of emergency. Save all that laundry for the week or two or three after returning home. Vacation time is too precious to waste doing laundry, even if all we're doing is sitting outside the trailer drinking our coffee or tea.
